Co-Founder, President & CEO
Suraj Nekram is the President and CEO of INPENSA. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the company and for defining and executing the company’s vision and goals. Prior to co-founding INPENSA, Suraj also co-founded SteelGlass Consulting where he pioneered an industry best practice in Financial Transparency and Cost Optimization for Fortune 500 companies. Prior to SteelGlass Consulting, Suraj was a Senior Vice President at Bank of America and the Financial Transparency Executive with significant responsibilities for the integration of one of the Banks largest acquisition, Merrill Lynch. While at Bank of America Suraj was pivotal in leading, defining, and executing transformational change throughout the organization.
Prior to his Bank of America experience, Suraj has held several leadership roles at Merrill Lynch including Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (Corporate Planning) responsible for Budgeting & Forecasting, Capital Planning and Expense Management. Other leadership roles held at Merrill Lynch include Finance Controller for Data Center Services and Corporate Services. During his tenure at Merrill Lynch, Suraj was instrumental in driving large-scale process changes that made significant impacts throughout the company.
In addition, Suraj was a Technology Finance Manager and held other finance roles at leading institutions. Suraj has a BA in Biology & Economics from Rutgers University and an MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University.
Co-Founder, CTO & Head of Product
Suku is the Chief Technology Officer of INPENSA and is responsible for the strategic direction and development of INPENSA’s Enterprise Business Value Management solution. He is an accomplished senior technology leader with industrial experience of over two decades in planning and delivering complex, mission-critical, and time-driven initiatives. He has successfully built collaborative, high-performance teams and led software development programs in competitive business environments.
He has come to us from Path Solutions where he, as the EVP of Product Engineering, defined technology roadmap and directed the development of Islamic banking and investment line of software products. Prior to Path, Suku was at MAXIMUS overseeing the development and delivery of special education software. There, he played an instrumental role in procuring the multi-million dollar award from the largest school district in the country. Before MAXIMUS, Suku led the building and operations of multi-terabyte digital archive for ingesting and preserving scholarly materials for Ithaka Harbors, a non-profit organization. Prior to moving to the U.S., he worked in the premier R&D centers in India tweaking UNIX kernels and porting compilers.
Suku is a postgraduate in computer science and applications from National Institute of Technology, India.
VP of Global Sales
Steve Kokol is the Vice President of Global Sales for INPENSA responsible for leading the sales team and building successful trusted partner relationships with our customers. Steve is also responsible for growing INPENSA’s alliance channel partner network globally.
As a global technology sales leader, Steve has been successful in both start-up and large organizations including Primavera Systems (Project Management Software), Sungard Availability Services (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery software and services) and IBM. Steve has grown, nurtured and led multi-tiered sales organizations of over 80 sales professional as well as developed and managed global channel networks through the world.
During Steve’s career, he lived and worked in the USA as well as London, establishing Primavera’s first International office. Steve has personally conducted business in over 70 countries around the world to build and maintain relationships with hundreds of customers and channel partners as well as opening and managing Primavera’s Asia Pacific office in Hong Kong.
Steve has broad vertical industry background working closely with Global 1000 companies to ensure strategic alignment and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Chief Financial Officer
Shavi Gupta is the Chief Financial Officer of INPENSA. She is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial and administrative functions. Shavi works closely with the executive management team to formulate and drive the strategic objectives of the company. She is an accomplished financial executive who brings over 15 years of financial management experience from various leading Fortune 500 firms.
Shavi comes to us from Alcatel-Lucent where she was driving the cross functional Financial Project Controller role in a highly visible and accountable capacity. Prior to this she held various finance roles with increasing responsibilities at former Merrill Lynch, Citigroup and Warner Brothers. Shavi initially started her career at a technology start-up, Commvault, now a publicly traded software company.
Shavi obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Computer Science from Monmouth University and an MBA in Finance & Strategy from Rutgers University.
